Comprehensive MELT for Fitness and general Well-Being

-  Learn to reconnect with your body using different MELT assessment techniques

-  Learn to use the MELT balls for the global Hand and Foot Treatment

-  Learn to use the soft foam roller for

  • decompression techniques for the neck and lower back
  • lengthening techniques for the upper back and shoulder girdle
  • techniques to rebalance the NeuroCore
  • modalities to rehydrate connective tissue

MELT for Hips and Low Back

(4 sessions)

$120.00 per person

The focus of this course is the lower body, particularly the lower back and the hips.

You will learn the use of the MELT balls for the Foot Treatment with its impact on the lower body and the use of the foam roller for release techniques for the lower back and hips.

In addition, I will teach lengthening  techniques for the lower body and strength techniques for the lower back and pelvic girdle.

MELT for Shoulders

(4 sessions)

$120.00 per person

The focus of this course is the upper body, particularly the shoulders and the shoulder girdle.

You will learn the use of the MELT balls for the Hand Treatment with its impact on the upper body and the use of the foam roller for release techniques for the neck..

In addition, I will teach lengthening  techniques for the upper body and strength techniques for the shoulders and the shoulder girdle including the rotator cuff.

MELT for Musicians

(4 sessions)

$120.00 per person

This course is designed for those who play a musical instrument but can also include people who use tools for extended periods of times such as in painting or pottery.

You will learn the use of the MELT balls for the Hand Treatment with its impact on the upper body and the use of the foam roller for release techniques for the neck.and rib cage.

In addition, I will teach other lengthening  techniques for the neck and upper body as well as some release techniques for the lower body to counteract the impact of being in a seated position for extended periods of time.

MELT for Golfers

(4 sessions)

$120.00 per person

Golf requires good balance, flexibility, core strength and the ability to isolate your upper body from your lower body.

You will learn the use of the MELT balls for the Hand and Foot Treatment as this pertains to grip strength, balance and lower back health. I will also teach you the use of the foam rollers to improve differentiation between pelvic movement and upper body movement, release techniques for the neck, lower back and hips and strength for the glutes, lateral hip stabilization, and upper body rotation.

MELT for Racket Sports

(4 sessions)

$120.00 per person

This is particularly dear to my heart as I was a passionate squash player and had to stop because of a shoulder injury. If only I had known MELT then ......

The MELT learning focus here is grip strength and strength of the shoulder girdle. I will also include release techniques for the lower back, neck and hip as well as whole body lengthening.

This will include the use of the MELT balls for the Hand Treatment and also the use of the roller for lower body shearing techniques.

MELT for Runners

(4 sessions)

$120.00 per person

Is there anybody with a tight IT Band? Considering that MELT deals exclusively with connective tissue, the IT band is on top of my list.

In MELT for Runners, you will learn to use the balls for the MELT Foot Treatment and the use of the roller for lower body release and shearing techniques. However, as I watch runners all the time on the greenway, we also need to to include upper body techniques to counteract the tendency of forward rounded shoulders.
